The Dunwoody Perimeter Chamber, in collaboration with Google’s Get Your Business Online program, will provide an educational session on Thursday, January 17, 2019, at the Elekta Headquarters in Dunwoody. The session, titled “Reach Your Customers Online with Google!,” will be led by national speaker and trainer for Google’s Get Your Business Online program, Demming Bass.
In addition to training with Google’s Get Your Business Online program, Bass also serves as the CEO of two creative marketing consulting firms. His marketing, branding and public relations career began in the early 1990s. After an award-winning career as a chamber of commerce executive in NC and GA for 17 years, he became Constant Contact’s Southeast U.S. Regional Development Director where he trained more than 8,000 small businesses, nonprofits & chambers how to be better marketers.
He has been recognized as one of the “Top 100 Most Notable Georgians” by Georgia Trend Magazine, one of the Top 40 Under 40 Most Influential Leaders in Georgia by both the Atlanta Business Chronicle and Georgia Trend, and North Carolina State University Alumni Association’s Outstanding Alumni in the field of Communication and Public Relations. Demming graduated cum laude from North Carolina State University and earned the Institute of Organizational Management IOM) professional designation from the College of Charleston.

Attendees will learn how to get more customers and build customer loyalty through free Google marketing tools like Google My Business listings, the latest SEO tips, and effective search engine marketing strategies. It’s a great way to kick off your digital marketing plan for 2019,” Bass said.
During the session, attendees will be introduced to tools to help them run their business online, including Google Analytics, Google Trends, and more. In this session, they will learn how to:
- Create and verify a free Google My Business listing
- Optimize their website for search and mobile
- Use search engine marketing opportunities for their business
- Benefit from free online tools to grow their business
Advanced registration for this educational session is required; the cost of attendance is $10.00 and $15.00 for members and prospective members, respectively. Advance registration will end on Tuesday, January 15, 2019, at 1 p.m. No refunds will be granted for no-shows or cancelations. The Chamber also strongly encourages attendees to bring business cards for networking.
