Dunwoody Perimeter Chamber Host First Monday Networking Event Featuring Sen. Johnny Isakson as Chamber Awardee

The Dunwoody Perimeter Chamber will host their monthly First Monday Networking event featuring Senator Johnny Isakson (R) as a special guest on Monday, August 6, 2018, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar.

The event will not only serve as a platform for attendees to network with other business leaders throughout the Perimeter Market, but it will serve to honor Senator Isakson for his commitment to Georgia’s business sector as a recipient of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Spirit of Enterprise Award.

“The ‘Spirit of Enterprise Award’ is a great honor, and I’m proud to be able to work in the Senate to advance our national interests. When our economy does well, hardworking Americans are able to find good jobs, create new opportunities and take care of their families and futures,” said U.S. Senator Johnny Isakson, R-Ga. “I have always tried to rely on my business experience when making policy decisions, including my work on the most recent Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, and I look forward to continuing to work each day for the best interests of Georgians and Americans.”

Isakson holds the distinction of being the only Georgian ever to have been elected to the state House, state Senate, U.S. House and U.S. Senate. In addition, in 2016 he became the first Georgia Republican ever to be elected to a third term in the U.S. Senate.

The award will be presented to Senator Isakson by Moore Hallmark, U.S Chamber of Commerce Executive Director of the Southeast region. The award recognizes legislators who demonstrate a pro-business voting record in Congress.

Advance registration for this event is required, due to the anticipated heavy turnout; the cost of registration for members and prospective members is $10.00 and $20.00 respectively. Advance registration will end on Friday, August 3, 2018, at 1 p.m. Registration includes appetizers and one drink ticket (beer or wine) per attendee; there will be a cash bar available.

After registration ends, walk-in admission will not be accepted. Those who register will also be eligible for door prizes. No refunds will be given for cancellations or no-shows.

Attendees are also encouraged to bring plenty of business cards and engage with the event via social media using #DPCFirstMonday.

This event is presented and sponsored by Northside Hospital. There are still sponsorship opportunities available for this event; please visit here for more information.
