Dunwoody Perimeter Chamber Calls for Volunteers for Kingsley Elementary Career Day

The Dunwoody Perimeter Chamber, in collaboration with Kingsley Elementary School, will host a career day on Thursday, November 29, 2018, from 7:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the school’s location at 2051 Brendon Drive, Dunwoody, GA 30338.

“I think it’s very important for Dunwoody community & Chamber members to be involved in molding Dunwoody’s future by investing their time and resources. It takes a village to raise up a community and workforce that Dunwoody can be proud of,” President & CEO Stephanie Freeman said.

The Chamber and school need business leaders, community leaders, and public figures to educate kindergarteners through fifth graders on their professions. Presentations should be between 20-30 minutes in length. The suggested format includes related school subjects, education/training, personal skills necessary in your field, a typical day in your field, child-friendly games and presentations, hands-on activities or visuals, etc. Volunteers may also bring age-appropriate swag items, but please be advised that each volunteer will visit with approximately 200 students.

Volunteer slots for career day are limited to the first 20 participants who fully commit. If you would like to participate in this wonderful volunteer opportunity, please contact the Chamber’s Events Coordinator, Britney Hardweare, at or at 678.244.9702.
