CHRISTINE WONG

Owner at Christine L Wong, CPA

After spending over a decade practicing at New York law firms, I decided to open my own practice to serve those who cannot afford law firm prices. My primary practice areas are New York residential and commercial real estate and business law for entrepreneurs, startups and small businesses. I provide the same high level of service to my clients now as I did when I worked at large corporate firms and take pride in treating clients of all sizes the same.

My legal background includes commercial litigation and – knowing firsthand all the challenges and frustrations litigation presents – I use that experience to help my clients avoid going to court. This foundation of knowledge also influences how I advise clients when they decide to purchase real estate from family members or friends, the ways in which I draft contracts, and certainly the advice I give clients before they join partnerships or go into business with family or friends.

I am also very active in my community, volunteering as an arbitrator for small claims courts in New York and Brooklyn, and providing pro bono legal services to ALIST Magazine, an Asian American magazine focused on success, leadership and professionalism. In addition, I sit on the boards of two not-for-profits—Greenwich Village Chelsea Chamber of Commerce and Hunter College High School Alumnae/i Association.
